Left handed crochet
The stitch structure is the same; the working direction mirrors a right-handed demonstration.
Work the technique
Hold the hook in the left hand, feed yarn from the right and work across the foundation in your comfortable direction. Mirror insertion and yarn-over movements rather than reversing the US/UK term names.
Try it on a sample
Chain 16 and make 15 US sc. Mark the first stitch after turning and verify 15 top Vs in each row.
Check and recover
A pictorial chart may need to be mirrored to preserve its motif orientation. Written counts remain unchanged; US sc still means UK dc.
