Working with this weight

Large stitches and heavy accessories. Make the sample large enough to measure a meaningful number of stitches. Check the finished fabric’s weight and stretch rather than assuming that fast knitting means an equally lightweight object.

Roving can describe a soft strand construction as well as appear in thickness names. Examine the actual strand and care label; the word does not establish how a finished item will stand up to rubbing or washing.
