Angora comes from rabbits; mohair comes from Angora goats. The two names identify different fibres.
Match the fabric to the project
The fine fuzzy surface can obscure small stitch details. A blend with wool offers a different structure from a high-angora yarn; compare the visible halo and edging after finishing.
Finish a sample first
Follow the particular blend’s care band and fold the finished item rather than letting its weight hang from the shoulders. Check shedding on a small sample before making a wearable item.
